Fun Hands On Tiling Math

Marcy Cook math materials have been used by thousands of students in the USA and many foreign countries.  Marcy taught elementary and middle school for a number of years and developed hands on activities where students use ten tiles (0 through 9)  in "puzzle like "formats to complete each task. Focus is on experimenting and persevering as well as the computation.  Over 190 tile task packets (with 20 activities in each)  are available ranging from pre school counting to middle school algebra.  Math can be fun and challenging not just memorizing facts.  An example of Add-Sub Combo and Multi-Divvy Combo can give you an idea of the probing, exploring that may be necessary to complete the task.
